All ability levels are welcome in the DCC Junior Golf Program. It is designed for the “new junior golfer” as well as the intermediate level junior. Participants are provided group and personalized instruction based on their experience and skill level in order to create the most favorable learning environment possible. Each day, Junior Golfers will learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf fundamentals and well as fun!

 

Davison Country Club Junior Golf Director - Deb Miles-Dillman

After a successful career as the head coach of the Florida State Seminoles Women’s Golf program, Deb Miles-Dillman came back to her roots at the DCC to assist her brother and DCC’s PGA professional, John Miles. She has been an invaluable resource at the club and has expanded her Junior Golf program by leaps and bounds along with the help of numerous parents/volunteers. In addition to the DCC’s regular junior golf program, the “Tiny Turfbusters” program  introduces younger children to the game. Deb is building the next generation of golfers and providing them with the lifetime gift of golf.

If you have ever taken a lesson from Deb or watched her as she taught someone on the range, you will understand why she is so successful. She has an uncanny ability to explain the mechanics of a golf swing and the finer points of golf in a way that is easy for a student, regardless of age, to understand. Her students walk away from their session feeling good about themselves and good about the game of golf. Golf is a skill that lasts a lifetime and Deb has taught hundreds of juniors the game of golf and countless other members via private lessons.
